Heard nothing but excellent comments about our Corporate Evening event on May 14th. Frank suggested an amazing menu, perfection! And the mini bites/appetizers food display on the dining room table was a definitely a nice surprise, I wasn't expecting that. Katy, our bartender, and Bobby, in in-house chef were great host!

Frank and team member Jessie put together an amazing and customized brunch menu for my 40th birthday brunch. Frank really used skills, knowledge and techniques to elevate brunch classics beyond what I thought would be available to me in a catered format! And all hot food was served hot, which isn't always easy when feeding a crowd. Of the other chefs I compared, Frank was the only person spot-on to understand what I was looking for, and he easily adjusted his menu for my dish preferences and my guests' dietary restrictions. The party of 11 guests were surprised at how good everything looked and tasted, and left very happy with a memorable experience that felt really reflective of me and my favorite foods. I would happily use Gmarket Chef again, and recommend them to others. Many left the party with ideas of how to use Frank's services at their own events in the future! And a tip - If you use Frank's team for brunch, definitely make sure you get the amazing apple fritter french toast - one of the best and most unique brunch items I've had in a long time!

Frank and Chef Kevin helped us with a casual wine tasting for friends. We did heavy passed appetizers. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. I reached out to Frank less than a week before the event and he was quick to respond and put a menu together. In addition, Chef Kevin was very professional, brought all of the things he needed (including serveware, plates, etc.) and cleaned up the entire kitchen before he left. They made things as easy as possible for us. Will definitely be using them for future events. All of our guests asked for their contact information!

We worked with Frank to set up dinner and drinks for our micro wedding in an Uptown airbnb (12 people total). Frank was great to work with in setting up the menu, accommodating dietary restrictions and working out the details of service. Chef Bobby made an incredible meal that checked all the boxes on our fancy comfort food requests. Kevin made great drinks and did an amazing job making sure everybody felt well taken care of. It was exactly the dinner experience we wanted for our wedding.

GMarket Chef catered our daughter’s first birthday with an outstanding Derby themed lunch. Everyone raved about the food and I am still dreaming of the pimento cheese tartlets they made! Very creative and worked around our tastes. Service, food and people were all outstanding. Can’t wait to use them again! Frank is the best private chef I’ve found in the city. Highly recommend!

We worked with Frank for our wedding and could not be happier with how the food turned out. It’s so rare to like food at a wedding and it was delicious. Frank worked with us to let us try the entrees ahead of time which sold us on working with him. He was super patient and accommodating when we updated our menu a few weeks out to add a vegan option and dessert. Our guests raved about the food!! I recently had the pleasure of hiring Bartender Chicago for my party, and I must say, they exceeded all expectations! From the moment I reached out to inquire about their services, they were actively engaged, which I will say is rare as other companies didn’t even get back to me! The mixer package they brought along was absolutely awesome! It catered to all tastes and preferences, ensuring everyone at the party could enjoy their favorite drinks. The bartenders were not only skilled but also friendly and approachable, engaging with our guests and creating a lively atmosphere throughout the event. Now, let's talk about the craft cocktails—wow! These mixologists are true artists. They took the time to understand our preferences and curated a menu of cocktails that perfectly complemented the theme of our party. Each drink was carefully crafted, and you could taste the attention to detail in every sip. Our guests were raving about the unique and delicious concoctions served all night long!

Frank and his team were a pleasure to work with. They did my wife's 50th birthday, and Frank helped create an excellent menu that worked for a gluten-intolerant guest. His crew was super-professional, friendly, and positive. We had a family-style dinner for about 15 people, and the food was outstanding. Guests remarked about it throughout the dinner, including one notoriously picky eater. The staff handled prep, serving, and cleanup. All I had to provide was tables, chairs, tablecloths, and glassware. Guests asked for Frank's contact info afterward, everyone was blown away by the experience. Can't recommend them enough!

Frank was so fun to work with from our first conversation to the day of my wedding. He made delicious, gorgeous food that was perfect for our beautiful garden wedding. What I appreciated most is that he went out of his way to make a gazpacho for my father who has trouble swallowing from cancer. Everyone loved it on that 90 degree afternoon. Frank and his team were incredible for our housewarming brunch. The food was fantastic, innovative, bright, flavorful, and on brand. Frank and his team did a great job cooking us an amazing meal and we'd highly recommend! They prepared us a multi-course tasting menu, including A5 wagyu and king crabs legs. Everything was cooked to perfection and Frank was very professional.

Frank catered my husband's 40th birthday in our home for 13 people, and it was such a seamless experience from beginning to end. Frank was very responsive and easy to work with while planning the menu, he pretty much let me choose anything I wanted. Day of the event Frank had another engagement, so JT was our on site chef, and he was also great and friendly. Food was plentiful and phenomenal, our guests couldn't stop raving about it. I had the pleasure of hiring Frank's team for my husband's 50th birthday party. We had a Cuban-themed meal for 30 guests and it was a huge hit! The flavors were authentic and delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. The menu included traditional Cuban dishes that were beyond delicious! The Chef was also great at accommodating and making sure everyone was taken care of during the party. He was attentive to guests' dietary restrictions and made sure to have options available for those with food allergies or preferences. Overall, I highly recommend Frank for any event. His food is delicious and he's a pleasure to work with. We couldn't have been happier with the meal he prepared for our party, they left the kitchen spotless and allowed me to socialize with guest!

Frank and his team are absolutely fantastic! They catered our 100-person annual holiday party at our own home. They were punctual and brought along all necessary items, as well as thoroughly cleaned up afterwards, saving me tons of time. Frank was prompt and efficient in his work. His food was the cherry on top for my small intimate wedding. His food was truly delicious we had no leftovers so people absolutely loved it, he was on time and set everything we can possibly need in order to have a great meal. He individualized the menu to make sure it was colorful, in budget and delicious couldn't ask for more from a chef.

We booked Frank to cater our event in Chicago and we loved him! First of all, being an event manager, timely response and problem solving is a HUGE asset. Frank has all of these skills and more - he did not need to be micromanaged whatsoever and he had everything completely handled. To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. I wish I always had events in Chicago so he could cater them!

We booked Chef Frank as a surprise dinner (8 adults and 5 kids) for my mom's birthday. This was our first time booking a private chef, and it was a wonderful experience! Frank was very communicative in advance of dinner - he was amenable to adjusting the menu to meet or needs and had great ideas and recommendations. The food was wonderful - we had 5 (!) courses: charcuterie, Caesar salad, truffle gnocchi, a choice of ribeye, salmon, or cauliflower steak, and a pumpkin mousse parfait. All of the adults raved about the food and the kids had their own meal (steak, mashed potatoes, green beans) which they all loved. We will definitely book Chef Frank again!

Wow, what an rehearsal dinner Frank put on for us. He was prompt, well organized, and responsive in the communication leading up to the event. Our family was somewhat picky, we asked for an elegant but simple menu and it was fantastic! Would strongly recommend Frank for your private event. My wife and I would definitely use him again!

My husband and I hired Frank to cater a party for 75 guests to celebrate our wedding. Prior to finding Frank, I was getting very discouraged in our attempts to hire a caterer, repeatedly being underwhelmed with the menu options that were presented to us and overwhelmed by the price tag. Frank offered a substantial, tasteful and interesting menu at a reasonable price. He took our input about the menu and further customized it according to our feedback. He was easy to work with and responsive throughout the process. At the event itself, the food was beautifully presented, his staff were very professional, and the food was delicious. We received many compliments from the party guests who said that the food was "amazing", "beautifully presented". More than one guest asked for his business card at the party. I would hire Frank again without hesitation.

Frank knocked it out of the park for us. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with a special dinner; having never worked with a professional personal chef before, I did not know what to expect. I reached out to Gmarket Personal Chef and Frank responded right away. He was very responsive to all of my concerns about food allergies. And when the day of the event came, Frank showed up early, totally prepared, totally professional, and then made an absolutely stunning meal for us. My girlfriend was totally surprised, and Frank was cool enough to help contribute to the surprise when she walked in, which only added to the occasion. Gnocchi, steak, and pound cake were incredible. And Frank prepared the leftovers for us, which was nice. The meals felt healthy, yet savory at the same time. Services were very fairly priced. We will definitely be reaching out to Gmarket Personal Chef again in the future!

We enlisted the help of GMarket Chef (Chef Frank) for an intimate rehearsal luncheon held at our home the afternoon before our wedding. I was already incredibly stressed with wedding planning and I really wanted our rehearsal lunch to be special, I just didn't have the mental bandwidth to think too much about it. Chef Frank took the reigns and created an absolutely SPECTACULAR lunch. I cannot begin to convey how easy it was. But not easy like ordering catering from Chipotle. Easy as in Chef Frank is so talented he crafted a menu that was thoughtful, bespoke, and perfect for the occasion. It felt oh so special and tailored to us. In fact, when he sent an initial menu I gave him some notes on things I might want to change and within a day he'd revised the menu perfectly. He arrived early and set everything up beautifully (really the presentation was simply stunning). Everyone was RAVING about how delicious the meal was and how gorgeous it looked. Oh, and most importantly, the cost was beyond reasonable for the number of folks we were hosting. Honestly, I would have paid the same if not more simply ordering catering from a big restaurant and this tasted 1000x better. We will be calling upon Chef Frank for many occassions to come, and I encourage you to do the same. Believe me, hiring a chef to cater a custom meal isn't just for rich folk. But Chef Frank will make you feel like you are one.

We selected Gmarketchef to cook for us on our anniversary. We wanted to reproduce an unusual dish from our wedding. Chef Frank did a marvelous job of producing that dish. The entire experience was absolutely first rate. The food was all delicious, expertly prepared and plated. Frank was so easy to work with from the beginning. He selected awesome appetizers for my party of 25 people and stayed within my budget. The food was awesome and I've never seen such an amazing charcuterie board! The Chef JT and the server Hugo arrived on time. Prepped the food beautifully and left my kitchen spotless. I've never used an in-home caterer before, and I may never go into a restaurant again. I hired gmarketchef to cater our Easter dinner and my family got to enjoy the quality food of a high-end restaurant in the comfort of our own living room. They arrived at our agreed upon time and used our kitchen to make our meal. They do all the dishes and left my kitchen cleaner than it was before! I was worried about the menu because we had two gluten-free guests, but the chef was more than prepared and had their plates specialized. I couldn't believe this food was coming from my own kitchen. With shrimp, steak, and chicken, we were left completely stuffed. Good thing I was home already because I wasn't able to move! I'm going to be using gmarketchef for all of my holidays. Thanks again!

A friend of mine used this service and it was awful. He's too nice to write a review so I did. First off it wasn't cheap(overpriced) for sure. The chef that came was 30 minutes late and seemed unprepared. The food quality was decent but at the end of the day nothing compared to anything you'd find in fulton market. There are plenty of these services out there, I'd pick another.

Frank has cooked for us 3 times over the last 3 months for various celebratory occasions. Each time his food has been stellar and on top of his food being amazing he is always on-time, professional, personable, and very cleanly! We have appreciated having him each time and we will for sure have him back!

Frank catered our wedding (about 60 people in our backyard) this past September and it was amazing. My husband and I are particular about food and really appreciate good food that isn't generic. He created the menu with us and listened to all our ideas. We did heavy passed apps instead of sit down and it was sooo much food and so good. My only issue was that I didn't get to eat enough of it (not his fault, I was too busy) but he packaged everything up for us in our fridge and we ate the leftovers the whole next week. I would highly recommend using Frank if you care about quality and interesting food; he was willing to work within our budget and create a menu that was just what we wanted!

Gmarket Personal Chef was perfect! I needed breakfast and lunch trays that could be portable for a bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready and limo ride for photos. Frank developed a wonderful menu that tasted great and looked gorgeous. Everyone loved it! His personal service by delivering the trays to the hotel rooms himself was so appreciated. Made one detail of that day almost effortless. So thankful to him for this service!!! I highly recommend them and look forward to using them again!

Chef Frank was absolutely phenomenal! We host a lot of dinner parties and have used private chefs several times in the past with mixed results. Chef Frank delivered across the board on all fronts- from pulling together the menu, to getting here on time, being completely organized, and finally the clean up- he left our kitchen spotless! Most importantly, though, was the food. Truly Michelin level quality, from the artful presentation to the quality and taste. We were hosting a business dinner featuring some incredible wines and tasked the Chef with a 7 course pairing. He delivered beautifully- with the flavors of his food perfectly balancing with wines that I will likely never again drink in my lifetime. Importantly, everyone left full and happy. It's a night we will never forget- but plan on repeating often as Chef Frank will be the first person we call for the next dinner!
