Gmarket is excellent. They did a catering spread for a company event and it was beautiful as well as delicious. Jesse, Frank, and their wonderful team are lovely, communicative, and helpful! An excellent experience.

We used Gmarket for our 30-person vow renewal that was held at our home. Frank was wonderful to work with leading up to the event. We even had to reschedule at the last minute due to a serious illness, and Frank was beyond understanding and accommodating. When we were finally able to hold our event, the two chefs that prepared and served the food were unbelievably kind and personable. They answered questions from our interested guests and created the most gorgeous spread. They were very careful to keep meat and vegetarian items separate at my request. Everyone absolutely raved about the food. Even my super picky dad said that it was the best food he has had in Chicago! They left our kitchen sparkling. We will not hesitate to use Gmarket again in the future.

Our nonprofit hosted a small reception for program supporters, and it was a wonderful experience working with GMarket from start to finish! Frank was communicative, flexible, and helpful throughout the process and Chef Brandon and Charlie did an excellent job at the event. The food was delicious, the set-up looked great, and we will certainly be repeat customers. Highly recommend!

I usede Frank for my mother's 85th Birthday party. Frank was wonderful to work with and understood what I needed for a variety of taste. The day of the party the chef and his crew were fabulous to work with and the food was fantastic. They brought everything and cleaned up. Plenty of leftovers that they packaged. Let me start this by saying how incredible Frank and his team were throughout the entire process. I hired Frank for my husband's 40th birthday party (25+ people), and everything was absolutely exceptional. The planning was the easiest planning I have ever done for an event simply because of Frank's communication and professionalism throughout the process. After reading amazing reviews, I emailed him one night to start the process. Had a response the next morning, a call from him the next day and a menu for the entire party by the end of the week. I literally had nothing to think about after that. For someone who plans a number of parties, I was so pleased with this. On the day of the event, they showed up with EVERYTHING and took care of everything. I kept asking if I could help, and they would tell me they had it under control and i could now relax (which i was so appreciative of). The decorations/displays were GORGEOUS, the team was exceptional (so friendly, professional and efficient!), and I cannot explain how good the food was! I had SO many people (many that are food snobs) tell me that the food was the best they have ever had at a party - everyone was taking Frank's information when they left my house for future events. And our bartender, Eric, was simply amazing and services completely blown away! Now, the most impressive quality that I must share was how they left my house when they were wrapped up. Coming from a clean freak, this is so important to me (and honestly the reason why i booked them as i saw someone else compliment the same thing). My kitchen, dining room and every place they worked in were perfect when they left - as if nothing ever happened. They even came to get me to ask if I was ok with how it looked and if they needed to do anything further. This was exceptional. As a host in my home, this was the first time i was able to really enjoy myself with all of my guests and not have to worry about cleaning, making my guests food/drinks etc. I just cannot express how wonderful everything was (and cheaper than going to a restaurant with that many people!). THANK YOU FRANK AND TEAM so much!! I will be calling you for all future events!

We hired GMarket for a home holiday party (~40 people) and we were so pleased with their delicious food and friendly service. I’m so happy we had the food professionally prepared instead of trying to do it ourselves, and they brought everything ready to be warmed and served. They took care of all the plating and presented it so nicely. What set their food apart were all the garnishes, extra sauces, and great flavors that a home cook wouldn’t think of. It was restaurant quality. They provided extra servings and we had more than enough food. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Gmarket made our son and future daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner truly spectacular and stress-free. We reached out to Chef Frank a few months in advance with some initial ideas, and within a week, the menu was perfectly planned. We opted for heavy appetizers and bartender services, which were a huge hit. Everything was homemade, beautifully presented, and delicious. Drew and the team arrived early (bringing ovens since our venue didn’t have any), handled all the prep, and left the space spotless afterward. Phil, our bartender, crafted three specialty drinks that we collaborated on, and his service kept the energy of the evening going. We highly recommend Gmarket and will absolutely use them again for our next event!.

Chef Drew and Chef Wes prepared and served an in-home four-course dinner at our friends’. They worked with our hosts to create the perfect menu, then executed it both beautifully and deliciously, and at the end of the night the kitchen was spotless. I can’t recommend them enough!

Frank and his team were amazing from beginning to end for my company’s offsite catering. Frank even went so far as to have one of his team arrive to my event early to help me prep non catering items when I found myself down helpers. The food was amazing and my team felt well taken care of. Would use him again and would highly recommend.

Frank and Minah made the process/communication easy…especially on the day of the event. All the skewers (steak, chicken and veggie) were delicious…and the salmon sliders were bomb!

Heard nothing but excellent comments about our Corporate Evening event on May 14th. Frank suggested an amazing menu, perfection! And the mini bites/appetizers food display on the dining room table was a definitely a nice surprise, I wasn't expecting that. Katy, our bartender, and Bobby, in in-house chef were great host!

Frank and team member Jessie put together an amazing and customized brunch menu for my 40th birthday brunch. Frank really used skills, knowledge and techniques to elevate brunch classics beyond what I thought would be available to me in a catered format! And all hot food was served hot, which isn't always easy when feeding a crowd. Of the other chefs I compared, Frank was the only person spot-on to understand what I was looking for, and he easily adjusted his menu for my dish preferences and my guests' dietary restrictions. The party of 11 guests were surprised at how good everything looked and tasted, and left very happy with a memorable experience that felt really reflective of me and my favorite foods. I would happily use Gmarket Chef again, and recommend them to others. Many left the party with ideas of how to use Frank's services at their own events in the future! And a tip - If you use Frank's team for brunch, definitely make sure you get the amazing apple fritter french toast - one of the best and most unique brunch items I've had in a long time!

Frank and Chef Kevin helped us with a casual wine tasting for friends. We did heavy passed appetizers. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. I reached out to Frank less than a week before the event and he was quick to respond and put a menu together. In addition, Chef Kevin was very professional, brought all of the things he needed (including serveware, plates, etc.) and cleaned up the entire kitchen before he left. They made things as easy as possible for us. Will definitely be using them for future events. All of our guests asked for their contact information!

We worked with Frank to set up dinner and drinks for our micro wedding in an Uptown airbnb (12 people total). Frank was great to work with in setting up the menu, accommodating dietary restrictions and working out the details of service. Chef Bobby made an incredible meal that checked all the boxes on our fancy comfort food requests. Kevin made great drinks and did an amazing job making sure everybody felt well taken care of. It was exactly the dinner experience we wanted for our wedding.

GMarket Chef catered our daughter’s first birthday with an outstanding Derby themed lunch. Everyone raved about the food and I am still dreaming of the pimento cheese tartlets they made! Very creative and worked around our tastes. Service, food and people were all outstanding. Can’t wait to use them again! Frank is the best private chef I’ve found in the city. Highly recommend!

We worked with Frank for our wedding and could not be happier with how the food turned out. It’s so rare to like food at a wedding and it was delicious. Frank worked with us to let us try the entrees ahead of time which sold us on working with him. He was super patient and accommodating when we updated our menu a few weeks out to add a vegan option and dessert. Our guests raved about the food!! We hired Chef Frank for my sister's bachelorette party. Not only was the service affordable (always a plus!), but the food was INCREDIBLE. Chef Frank patiently worked with me to put together a three course meal for several different dietary restrictions - going as far as revamping the menu SEVERAL times to address our requests. He also provided us with recommended wine pairings with each course. On the day of, he came on time, prepared everything to perfection and cleaned. It was above and beyond anything we expected. The girls still text each other about how they dream about the food that night. We will definitely use Chef Frank again - highly, highly recommend! FYI - we all ate the pasta course too quickly to even take a picture of it.
